Orlando Bloom may be deeply in love with his fiancée Katy Perry, but during the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner in New York City on Monday, he momentarily let his gaze wander in a playful manner. The 47-year-old actor, known for his role in “Lord of the Rings”, was spotted stealing a glance at Kim Kardashian’s well-known curves.
This lighthearted incident was captured in a viral photograph, portraying Bloom in elegant black-tie apparel standing next to Katy while sneakily looking at Kim’s figure with a cheeky smile, all the while resting his hand on his fiancée. Quite the balancing act!
Despite Orlando’s playful glances, the couple appeared very much in love throughout the night. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star and Katy shared affectionate kisses on the red carpet, with Katy looking stunning in a sparkling teal gown. Kim also turned heads in a shiny white dress that had a unique wrinkled look.
Orlando’s Longstanding Habit
Fans quickly drew comparisons between Orlando’s recent moment of being caught “gawking” and a famous photo from the 2016 Golden Globes, where he was seen admiring Katy before they became a couple. Clearly, some tendencies are hard to shake off!
However, there are no hard feelings between Katy and Kim. The two have been friends for years. In 2017, Kim even took her daughter North West to meet Katy at one of her concerts.
Their friendship was further spotlighted in 2018 when they were seen enjoying each other’s company at the Met Gala. Notably, Katy once flew Kim’s fake nails to New York on her private jet!

Orlando wasn’t the only one who seemed to be captivated by Kim’s allure that night. François-Henri Pinault, CEO of Kering, was also seen sharing a cheerful conversation with the social media icon at the gala.
Regarding Katy and Orlando’s relationship, they have experienced their share of ups and downs, including a brief breakup in 2017. They reconciled and got engaged in 2019. Katy recently shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that their time apart ultimately benefited their relationship and her personal growth.
“I would be dead without it,” Katy reflected, acknowledging the growth they both underwent. Now, they joyfully raise their daughter Daisy Dove and continue to share laughter together!
