Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, has had his share of formidable opponents in WWE, like John Cena, and in films, where he has battled tough personalities such as Jason Statham. However, his most challenging adversaries may very well be his daughters.
Beneath his tough exterior, Johnson is a devoted family man dedicated to spending quality time with his kids, often at the cost of his own dignity.
A Viral Transformation
Recently, The Rock posted a playful video on social media showcasing his daughters applying makeup on him, a moment he cherished even if his expression suggested otherwise.
Johnson shared, “It began when my two little tornadoes, Jazzy and Tia, asked, ‘Daddy, can we put some makeup on you?’ I replied, ‘Yes, but be quick and gentle, as I need to hit the gym.’“
These interactions are precious to Johnson. He understands that as his daughters grow, they might not want to spend as much time with him, but he fully embraces these tender moments with them.
“I understand they won’t always be young and will eventually prefer not to hang out with their dad, but they will always remain my daughters, so I will endure this fun torture every day. Bring it on!“
Currently, Johnson is working on the live-action adaptation of Moana, where he reprises his voice role as Maui.
He is committed to avoiding the mistakes of his father, who he had a fraught relationship with, and regrets not reconciling before his father passed away in 2020.
“I wish I had made peace with him, but it was too late. If only I could have five more minutes, just to hug him, kiss him goodbye, and tell him ‘I love you and everything is okay.’“
