As Travis Kelce gears up for Super Bowl LVIII, his father, Ed Kelce, contemplates the future for Travis and Taylor Swift.
During a February 6 interview on Australia’s Today show, Ed shared his thoughts on how their relationship might develop once the NFL season and Swift’s Eras Tour take a break.
“Post-Super Bowl, I believe it will be a wonderful time for them to connect exclusive of the NFL season and Eras Tour; it will only strengthen their bond,” Ed remarked.
Throughout the season, Swift has been a regular at Chiefs games, often seen in private suites with Ed and Donna Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium. Ed describes her as a delightful presence and commends her increasing football knowledge.
“She’s learning a great deal about football,” he emphasized. “She’s watching it with her father and whenever she can.”

Super Bowl and Engagement Rumors
As Swift prepares for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, there’s buzz about a possible surprise during Kendrick Lamar‘s halftime show. However, Ed Kelce has no insider insight on this matter.
“I’m not sure. I haven’t spoken to Taylor this week,” he mentioned. “I wouldn’t be the right person to ask about that.”
He also steered clear of rumors surrounding a potential engagement or wedding between Travis and Taylor. When questioned, he chuckled and said, “Did you really think I would have an answer to that?”
Kelce Family Support at the Super Bowl
Since Travis and Swift started dating in 2023, she has been a supportive presence at many of his games during the Chiefs’ playoff run. Her Super Bowl attendance was confirmed by Jason Kelce, stating that their entire family and close friends would be there for the big game.
“I can’t speak for everyone, but I think our whole family will be present, including Trav and Taylor with his family and friends,” Jason reflected.
As the NFL season wraps up, the couple will likely have time together away from their hectic routines. Ed Kelce is hopeful that this time will enhance their relationship.
