Christina Hall is making an effort to enhance her image by showing her caring and selfless side. Amid the ongoing chatter about Christina’s messy separation from Josh Hall, she is seen flattering her former husband Ant Anstead, possibly to deflect blame from the divorce drama.
Despite Christina and Ant parting ways in September 2020, the initial phase seemed amicable. Reports indicated that she continued living in their house, and the couple was committed to co-parenting their son, Hudson Anstead, harmoniously. However, the situation took a turn, and details about their bitter custody battle surfaced. Now, all the animosity appears to be a thing of the past as Christina has been cozying up to Ant on Instagram.
“Happy birthday, Hudzo! WOW, what a privilege it’s been to witness you become a bright, sparkly, funny, brilliant, generous, magnetic, talented, and kind little man,” Ant captioned a montage of pics he posted on Instagram in celebration of their son’s big day on September 6. “NayNay and I love you very much! Happy 5th birthday Hudzo,” he concluded, referencing his nickname for the boy. “Happy birthday to our sweet boy!” Christina wrote in the comments.
Christina and Ant are on the mend
Christina Hall’s efforts to maintain a friendly relationship with her ex-husband seem to have resonated positively with her followers. “You’re awesome,” one responded to her comment on Josh Hall’s birthday post for their son. Others praised her as well. However, some skeptics question Christina’s motives, suggesting her desire for attention linked to Ant’s relationship with Renée Zellweger may be a driving force.
Nevertheless, the relationship between Christina and Ant appears to be improving. She has re-followed him on Instagram and is eager to rebuild a friendship. Christina mentioned, “Tarek and Heather and I get along really well, and it’s been nice being able to co-parent with them, and Ant and I share Hudson, and he’s an amazing kid, and I feel like he deserves to have us get along,” in an interview with Backgrid (via Hello!).
On another front, she is also making peace with her soon-to-be ex-husband. Christina and Josh Hall have agreed to temporarily resolve some of their property disputes. As per documents from TMZ, she will retain ownership of their Newport Beach residence and her Nashville apartment, while he will have full use of their Franklin home. Additionally, Christina will give Josh a $100,000 advance, and he will repay the remaining $35,000 he allegedly moved from her account after their split.
