“I’ve been part of a transformation in Mexican music akin to historical figures like Pancho Villa… Many young people look up to me, and I feel it’s my duty to inspire them to pursue their dreams,” he stated.
In another interview on ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, Peso Pluma described himself as a superhero in music, reflecting his significant impact on the industry. This self-description sparked a wave of social media jokes and reactions.
“I believe Peso Pluma is a pivotal figure in a new era of Mexican music, bringing attention to our culture and inspiring others to embrace it in mainstream media. I’m not afraid to be authentic,” he remarked, referring to himself in the third person. “He is like a superhero who aims to rejuvenate the regional Mexican genre.”
