Jeff Bezos is set to embark on a new journey as he marries Lauren Sanchez on Saturday, December 28, marking a significant event that has seen millions of dollars spent on their wedding.
The wedding will take place in Aspen, Colorado, coming five years after the revelation of their relationship, which led to the end of Bezos’s marriage to MacKenzie Scott. This split famously cost him more than $35.6 billion in Amazon stock.
After moving past his previous life events, the billionaire has organized an extravagant $600 million wedding, almost 20 months after his engagement to Sanchez.
The ceremony will embrace the festive spirit of the season with a winter wonderland theme, adorned with sparkling lights and cozy holiday decorations. Guests will also enjoy sushi from the renowned Matsuhisa restaurant.

Who is Lauren Sanchez?
Lauren Sanchez, age 54, began her relationship with Bezos in 2018 following her breakup with Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell. She brings three children into their family, complementing Bezos’s four children.
With Mexican roots, Sanchez established herself as an entertainment reporter and later a news anchor, rising to fame as the host of Fox Sports News Primetime. She has shifted her focus toward philanthropic endeavors.
Currently, Sanchez serves as the vice-chair of the Bezos Earth Fund, contributing $60 million towards efforts in biomanufacturing and climate change. She also plays a role in selecting recipients for the Courage and Civility Award.
