Although there have been rumors about Ortega’s romantic involvements, she has never confirmed being in a serious relationship publicly. One such rumor linked her to Jacob Sartorius after appearing in his “Chapstick” music video.
Despite on-screen chemistry, Sartorius stated in an interview that they were just friends.
In 2018, Ortega attended a Halloween party with Asher Angel, both dressed as Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, fueling speculation. However, neither confirmed or denied the rumors.
Speculation also arose about a possible romance between Ortega and Percy Hynes White, her co-star in Wednesday, especially after collaborating on Winter Spring Summer or Fall. Nonetheless, both actors have not addressed these rumors. Additionally, a rumor involving Ortega and NBA player Devin Booker was proved false after it was discovered that a photo had been manipulated.
Despite working with Tim Burton, Ortega has not dated Johnny Depp. In an interview, Ortega debunked the claim of being in a relationship with Depp and found the rumor amusing.
