Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage may be facing challenges, but Lopez’s relationship with her stepdaughter Violet is thriving, with reports suggesting they are closer than ever despite the looming possibility of a divorce.
The singer, known for “Jenny From The Block,” was seen with 18-year-old Violet at the East Hampton Antiques & Design Show at the Historic Mulford Farm Museum in New York on Saturday, July 13.
Lopez, aged 54, sported a classic mom look with a white top and blue jeans, while Violet wore a pink crop top and dress, accompanied by a friend in a tan sports bra/top and pink dress and heels.
Violet also wore a mask, advocating its mandatory use following her struggle with a recent virus, resulting in a post-viral condition affecting her daily life.
“[Lopez] seemed very happy shopping with Ben’s daughter. She had a big smile on her face,” a source told PEOPLE, noting that the trio appeared unfazed despite the attention from onlookers as they left the mall that day.
