The ongoing public relations struggle between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seems to have a favored contender. Following Lopez‘s divorce filing after two years of marriage, both sides have ramped up their PR efforts, with Lopez currently making a larger impact.
A recent revelation could unsettle Affleck as he seeks to rally support amid his challenging divorce from Lopez, who is also looking for positive attention due to her association with ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is mired in legal troubles.
Affleck Faces Family Support Shift
As reported by Hola, key family members of Affleck have seemingly shifted their allegiance towards J. Lo, which is a significant setback for him. Caylee Cowan, in a relationship with Ben’s brother Casey, has expressed admiration for Lopez amidst her own marital difficulties.
“I adore her,” Cowan mentioned. “Jen is incredibly kind and authentic. … She always responds to my texts.”
Cowan further praised Lopez as “one of the kindest and most genuine people“, which is a notable endorsement for the star of “On the Floor“, who is also featured in the film “Unstoppable“, produced by Affleck and Matt Damon and set for a December release.
Lopez made a stunning appearance in a sequined dress at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of the film and is scheduled to attend the American Music Awards on October 6, continuing to shine in the public eye—contrasting with Affleck’s tendency to maintain a low profile.
