The ongoing legal situation involving Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs includes serious federal charges related to racketeering, sex trafficking, and human trafficking. Currently, he is held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with a trial scheduled for May 2025.
A new lawsuit has been filed on Monday in a New York court by a woman claiming that Sean Combs drugged and assaulted her two decades ago. At that time, she was a teenage nanny residing in a Manhattan building.
The lawsuit describes an alleged incident that took place in 2000, while Combs was dating Jennifer Lopez, who is referenced in the complaint as “a well-known woman” living in the same building.
Charges from the nanny against Diddy Combs
According to the lawsuit obtained by DailyMail.com, the anonymous woman claims that in late summer 2000, she met Diddy while he was in a car with two men. He asked her about her late-night plans, and after some persuasion, she accepted a ride home.
During the trip, the lawsuit states she grew alarmed when her destination was not the promised location. The complaint details how the defendant allegedly gave her a drink to “calm her down,” which incapacitated her. She was then taken to a venue where Combs reportedly assaulted her, and afterward, the two men left her in the lobby of her building.
In response, Sean Combs’ legal team has denied the allegations, asserting to DailyMail.com: ‘Regardless of the number of lawsuits filed, it does not alter the fact that Mr. Combs has never assaulted or trafficked anyone, irrespective of age or gender. In today’s world, one can initiate a lawsuit for almost any reason.’
