The efforts to create an unforgettable show have led to some challenges for the pop star, and the selfie she shared on Instagram sparked alarm ahead of her prominent role at the AMAs 2025.
On Friday, JLo showcased a bruise on her arm on her Instagram, which she sustained during dance rehearsals. This time, without any details, she only posted images from her rehearsal commute, heavily filtered, with the caption: “OMW to rehearsals.”

The anxiety among her fans stems from the fact that Jennifer Lopez typically does not rely on filters in her posts, unlike the Kardashians, who are open about improving their online images.
According to the Daily Mail, the filter might have been used to mask an injury on her nose that hasn’t completely healed, just a day prior to her hosting gig at the AMAs. Nevertheless, her makeup team is skilled at creating a ‘miracle’ look to ensure JLo‘s presentation is flawless.
In the pictures she shared, Lopez donned a stylish blue outfit, complemented by a warm blush on her cheeks and a glossy nude lip color.
In addition to the selfie, Jennifer Lopez also posted a video from her car, sitting alongside stylist Shawn Barton and vocal coach Stevie Mackey, dancing to the track Her by Megan The Stallion as she headed to rehearsal.
