A close source disclosed to People that Lopez is eager to move forward.
“What was supposed to be a fairy tale became a nightmare,” the insider noted.
“She is in a really great space now and wants to put this tumultuous chapter behind her.”
The divorce settlement, managed by renowned lawyer Laura Wasser, allowed Lopez to keep the iconic green diamond engagement ring valued at $5 million, alongside other precious keepsakes from their time together.
On the other hand, Affleck will retain his interests in Artists Equity, the production company he founded with Matt Damon.
Even without a prenuptial agreement, their financial matters were settled peacefully.
Their combined wealth is estimated at around $550 million, with Lopez contributing a remarkable $400 million.
Details regarding their $61 million mansion in Beverly Hills remain unspecified.
Lopez has also returned to her original name, legally changing it back to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
The 55-year-old actress from the film Unstoppable is looking towards a promising 2025, with a focus on her children, Emme and Max, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
