After the recent presidential debate, Taylor Swift publicly shared her support for Kamala Harris as her preferred candidate for the presidency, contrasting her stance with that of Donald Trump, which generated considerable buzz.
The pop star explained her choice by emphasizing that she believes “we need a warrior” to advocate for rights and liberties. In response, the current Vice President expressed her gratitude for Swift’s backing and has openly addressed the situation.
“I am very proud to have Tayor’s support. She is an extraordinary talent,” Kamala said in a recent interview. “I admire her bravery to advocate for her beliefs,” she remarked with a smile, according to various reports.
Different sports loyalties
Alongside the positive comments, sports emerged as a notable discussion point. Swift is currently dating Travis Kelce, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs, while Kamala Harris mentioned her own team preference.
“But we were on different ends during last year’s Super Bowl,” she jokingly noted, saying, “I’m a 49ers fan”, adding that loyalty to one’s team is commendable.
Following the debate, Donald Trump was questioned about Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Harris and commented that “she will likely pay a price for it in the marketplace.”
