Kanye West has made headlines again on X by expressing his desire for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to be released from prison, underscoring his knack for sparking controversy.
Combs is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, as he awaits a trial for sex trafficking and racketeering set for May.
“FREE PUFF,” West declared emphatically.
He further stated, “ALL THESE CELEBRITY N–S AND BITCHES IS P-Y YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY S-T.”
West also criticized the lack of support shown for Chris Brown, commenting, “WE ALL WATCHED THEM TRY TO CANCEL CHRIS BROWN AND AINT NOBODY DO NOTHING,” adding his support for Brown, “I WAS P-Y THEN TOO CHRIS BROWN ITS TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF,” hinting at his latest single, “Wheels Fall Off.”
West shares more on Instagram
Not stopping there, West posted a video on Instagram engaging with Christian ‘King’ Combs, Sean Combs’ son.
In his caption, West wrote, “… FOR EVERY SON WHO DAD IS LOCKED UP WRITE [sic] OR WRONG I WANT YALL TO LISTEN TO DAVE CHAPELLES JOKES VERY CLOSE THIS TIME,” urging his audience to reflect on the impact of separated families, particularly in the Black community.
Additionally, West has now followed Combs on Instagram, previously only following his wife, Bianca Censori.
Recently, federal prosecutors announced new charges against Combs, alleging he coerced two additional women into commercial sex acts as detailed in recent court filings.
In response, Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, dismissed the allegations, stating, “The latest Indictment contains no new offenses,” and asserting that the prosecution’s stance is flawed, claiming that two of Combs’ former girlfriends were wrongly characterized as prostitutes.
“Mr. Combs is as committed as ever to fighting these charges and winning at trial,” Agnifilo concluded.
