Kanye West has stirred fresh controversy with a series of antisemitic comments shared on social media.
On Friday, he launched into a shocking rant, where he openly praised Adolf Hitler, reiterated antisemitic views, and bizarrely accosted Elon Musk, claiming he “stole his Nazi swag.”
This behavior starkly contrasts his prior apology to the Jewish community from late 2023, in which he expressed regret for his antisemitic statements and promised to improve.
In now-removed posts, West shockingly stated, “I AM A NAZI.”
He further provoked outrage with the comment, “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT B*****S.”
These declarations prompted widespread criticism from fans and prominent figures, highlighting disbelief at his regression into hateful speech after previously attempting to amend his image.
Bizarre accusations against Elon Musk
Besides promoting antisemitic views, West criticized Tesla CEO Elon Musk, suggesting he borrowed Nazi imagery during a recent event linked to former President Donald Trump.
He claimed, “Elon stole my Nazi swag at the inauguration yoooo my guy get your own third rale,” though it’s unclear what he meant.
This unusual allegation drew attention, particularly in light of Musk’s prior dealings with West and Musk’s contentious approach to content moderation on the platform X.
West‘s outburst comes shortly after he apologized for his previous antisemitic remarks.
In December 2023, after regaining access to his Instagram account, West extended an apology.
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he stated.
At that time, many perceived his comments as a strategy to restore his public reputation following the loss of key partnerships with brands like Adidas and Gap due to his earlier statements.
