Khloé Kardashian’s path to weight loss started amidst a significant betrayal.
Khloé’s Struggles with Trust
The reality star opened up about a difficult moment that pushed her to stop therapy in a heartfelt interview with Bustle.
“My journey with weight loss began when I was going through a divorce,” explained Khloé.
“I was attending therapy sessions, and then I found out something I shared privately with my therapist ended up in the tabloids.”
She quickly put the pieces together and realized that her therapist was the source of the leak.
“There’s no way this information could have gotten out without her,” Kardashian stated.
Feeling let down, she turned to the gym for solace, leaving therapy behind.
“I shifted my focus to the gym because I needed an outlet, and trust was a big issue for me,” she said.
It was only after her sister Kim Kardashian encouraged her to give therapy another try that Khloé reconsidered.
“I hesitated, but once I did, I realized, ‘Wow, this is beneficial. I needed this,'” she reflected.
“My therapist told me, ‘You really need to come here.’
Khloé’s Children Look Up to Her
“Sometimes, I notice my kids want to organize their toys in specific ways, and it makes me feel guilty because they’re picking up my behaviors,” she chuckled.
Khloé also acknowledged how being a mother has influenced her views on perfection.
“I’ve accepted that it’s fine to embrace a messy space because I don’t want them to think everything has to be flawless,” she shared.
Regarding her personal life, Khloé clarified that she’s not actively seeking a partner.
“Dating isn’t a priority for me,” she mentioned, noting she’s been single for three years and enjoying the tranquility it brings.
“I’m so focused on my own growth that I don’t want anything to interrupt that.”
Khloé continues to prioritize her well-being despite the challenges of dating.
