Kim Kardashian Backs Menendez Brothers in Their Latest Legal Battle

Kim Kardashian supports Menendez brothers' new court hearing

Kim Kardashian is expressing her support for the Menendez brothers, Erik and Lyle, as new evidence suggests they endured abuse. She is pleased with the recent developments in their case, which indicate the brothers may have been victims.

This month, Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón revealed that the brothers are set for a court hearing in November. This hearing will consider new allegations of sexual abuse that their father allegedly inflicted upon them.

In a recent interview, Kardashian remarked, “They never received a fair second trial. Viewing Ryan Murphy’s series Monsters has profoundly impacted my understanding of their situation and the abuse they faced.”

Understanding her stance

The Menendez brothers were convicted for murdering their parents, José and Kitty, in their Beverly Hills home back in 1989, when they were just 18 and 21. Following two trials, they were sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole in 1996.

Kardashian emphasized that “the prosecution must rectify its past errors. While their sentence was warranted, I genuinely believe they deserve another chance and have served ample time.”

The narrative surrounding the Menendez brothers has gained renewed attention after Ryan Murphy highlighted their story in the second season of his Netflix show Monsters. The episodes delve into their assertion that they acted in self-defense following years of alleged abuse.
