Lady Gaga has opened up about her wedding plans and how her fiancé, Michael Polansky, proposed to her in a memorable way.
During her visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 1, the talented singer and actress shared funny yet heartfelt anecdotes regarding her upcoming wedding.

The 38-year-old star, recognized for her unique style and captivating performances, surprised viewers by mentioning that she and Polansky are thinking about a simple ceremony.
“We actually talk about going to the courthouse, just the two of us, and ordering Chinese food,” she revealed to Jimmy Kimmel.
Nonetheless, she humorously added, “But knowing me, it could also turn into a circus with unicorns!”
While the specifics of the wedding are still up in the air, Gaga assured everyone that her bond with Polansky has never been stronger.
The couple, engaged since April, has been deeply connected since they met in 2019, with Gaga referring to her fiancé as her “best friend and partner.”
In addition, the Poker Face singer recounted the story of her fiancé’s proposal amidst an adventure-filled outing.
Following her birthday, Polansky planned a rock-climbing trip to celebrate.
“He threw me a beautiful birthday dinner, and we went rock climbing,” Gaga stated, emphasizing what an unforgettable experience it was.
However, the proposal didn’t happen at the summit of the climb, which generated a chuckle from Kimmel.
“We climbed up, took some photos, and then went back down,” she shared.
“As we were walking back to our room, he asked if it was okay to propose.”
Gaga smiled and confirmed, “He wanted to make sure it was alright before asking, and I was like, ‘Yes! It’s so OK!'”
When Kimmel joked about the unusual proposal moment, Gaga reassured everyone that it was perfect for them.
“He had the ring in his backpack, and it was so super cute,” she recalled, laughing at the moment.
“He didn’t get down on one knee, but I’m a modern lady. I liked what he did.”

Aside from planning their wedding, Gaga expressed how her life has positively transformed with Polansky.
At the Los Angeles premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux, where she portrays Harley Quinn, she shared how her relationship has shifted her perspective on life.
“I just love my fiancé so much,” expressed Gaga.
“He’s my best friend, and being with your best friend changes everything.”
The couple has collaborated professionally as well, with Polansky co-executive producing Gaga’s new album, Harlequin, tied to her film.
“It felt right,” she told PEOPLE.
“We were both so excited.”
