The highly anticipated announcement of the Miss Florida USA 2025 competition, organized by Hayat Amyra Productions, has finally taken place. This exciting event was held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend of May 24 and 25.
The finals on Sunday afternoon generated a thrilling atmosphere as contestants vied for the crown that created immense buzz leading up to the event, hoping to succeed last year’s titleholder, Peyton Lewis, 26, from Orlando and a graduate of the University of California.

The title of winner was ultimately revealed to be Lou Schieffelin, Miss Palm Beach Island 2025, a model whose career has rapidly evolved, being the daughter of a former top model who now runs a successful fashion business. Lou previously held the title of Miss Florida Teen in 2018 and has collaborated with renowned brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Max Mara, Maaji Swimwear, Jovani Bridal, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Wrangler.
In addition to her modeling career, Lou Schieffelin was part of the team advocating for HB107, a law that bans texting while driving in Florida; she is also deeply engaged in promoting online safety initiatives for children through Red Flags.
She describes herself as charming, adventurous, and feminine, with a strong emphasis on empathy, believing that loving one’s neighbor is essential. Lou Schieffelin will proudly represent Florida in the Miss USA competition.
