The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, will deliver a significant speech on “Afro Women and Power” during the final leg of her visit to Colombia with Prince Harry. The speech is scheduled for 16:00 UK time at the main theatre in Cali, a city renowned for its salsa culture.
Wrapping up their four-day tour, which included stops in Bogota and Cartagena de Indias, the couple visited San Basilio de Palenque, known as the first free town for Africans in the Americas. Meghan and Harry strolled through the village hand in hand, expressing gratitude for the town’s significance.

Vice President Francis Marquez of Colombia played host to Meghan and Harry throughout their visit. In San Basilio de Palenque, a local “wise woman” conducted a ritual for the prosperity of the guests, followed by a message of unity from the Vice President.
During their trip, the royal couple visited a school in Santa Fe, Bogota, interacted with students, played volleyball with Invictus Games athletes, planted trees at La Giralda School, and enjoyed traditional dance performances by local children.
