During the summit at a prestigious university in Bogota, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared insights on fostering responsible online behavior among students and society as a whole, emphasizing the need to prioritize humanity and connection in the digital realm.

Markle highlighted the significance of modeling the desired upbringing for children in the online world, acknowledging the prevalence of cyberbullying issues and the collective responsibility to address them.

Prince Harry’s Perspective

Prince Harry also underscored the importance of information integrity as a basic right, in alignment with the vision of the Archewell Foundation, shared with his wife.

Sharing the panel with the royal couple were Colombia Vice President Francia Marquez and Maria Ressa, co-founder and CEO of Rappler and Nobel Peace Laureate, stressing the role of education in utilizing digital tools effectively.

Later, Meghan Markle and Vice President Marquez partook in a dancing finale at a cultural showcase featuring artists from the National Arts Center of Bogota, while Prince Harry and the Duchess greeted the performers.
