Rachel Gupta from India has been crowned the latest winner of Miss Grand International at a recent pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Gupta defeated the Philippines representative, Christine Juliane Opiaza, claiming the prestigious title, while Thae Su Nyein from Burma secured third place.
Gupta was presented her crown by the outgoing queen, Luciana Fuster from Peru, the winner of the 2023 event held in Vietnam.
Measuring 1.78 meters, Gupta is not only a beauty queen but also a professional model from Punjab, India.
This year’s event featured competitors from 69 countries, with the final ten representing Spain, Peru, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, France, Indonesia, Burma, the United Kingdom, India, and the Philippines.
Originally slated to take place in Cambodia, the event was relocated to Bangkok due to some organizational challenges, marking its 11th anniversary at the Thai venue.
