After nearly two decades, Natalie Portman as Padme Amidala may be returning to cinemas. Fans last enjoyed her portrayal in ‘Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith,’ which premiered in 2005. Reports indicate that she might be negotiating to reprise her role in the upcoming series ‘Ahsoka.’

Potential Comeback of Padme Amidala
It appears that after the return of Jedi Master, Padme Amidala might also make a comeback after 20 years. According to Kristian Harloff, who discussed it on his YouTube channel, discussions between Natalie Portman and the ‘Ahsoka’ team are currently underway with hopes that she will join the cast for the second season.
As these talks progress toward a possible announcement, viewers of the Disney+ series are eagerly awaiting more content following the recently released episodes in 2023. Currently, there’s no confirmed release date, but new episodes are expected to premiere next year.
Directors Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have indicated that ‘Ahsoka’ along with its second season will be the next focus of their efforts. However, as of now, the complete cast has not been finalized. Natalie Portman could be returning to one of her most celebrated roles nearly two decades after her last performance.
