Nicola Peltz is once again showing appreciation for her close friends and family, offering a peek into a tranquil evening spent with her husband, Brooklyn, during a time of rumored conflicts within the Beckham family.
The actress and model, who tied the knot with the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham in April 2022, seems to be reinforcing a personal message of emotional support and fidelity amidst recent reports.
The 30-year-old Peltz recently took to Instagram to share several stories showcasing a picnic in their backyard with her husband on May 21, celebrating three years of marriage while relishing takeout outdoors.
The 26-year-old, known for being the son of the famed soccer player, was spotted in a casual outfit featuring a cap and a T-shirt adorned with his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23, which he launched in October 2024.
“I adore you so much, sweetheart,” Peltz wrote, followed by a touching note in another post stating, “Grateful for the angels in my life.”
Although the posts seem lighthearted, they come at a time of increased speculation regarding the Beckham family dynamics amid rumors of discord between Brooklyn and his parents.
Over a year, reports have surfaced, including Brooklyn’s absence from David‘s significant 50th birthday bash in March, despite indications that the couple had been invited.
A source revealed to PEOPLE that the relationship “is certainly not irreparable,” but the family is feeling “hurt and disappointed that he’s not engaging in family events.”
What is causing the Brooklyn-Bekham conflict?
This emotional distance has fueled public assumptions of tension, especially between Nicola and her in-laws, although she refutes assertions of any familial rift.
“I’ve reiterated this numerous times: There is no feud,” Peltz stated in an interview with Cosmopolitan in March 2023. “It’s genuinely odd, really.
“Whether it pertains to my life or anyone else’s, knowing the truth while reading completely inaccurate portrayals is frustrating.”
Nevertheless, Nicola‘s social media updates appear to serve as subtle affirmations of her support for Brooklyn and perhaps an indication that she is now the emotional cornerstone, surpassing his parents’ role.
Yet, there remains hope. Clearly, Victoria has a deep affection for her son, as indicated by her May 19 social media post, which showcased a family picture that included Brooklyn, along with his three siblings and herself.
In the snapshot, her eldest son is seen standing closely to his younger sister Harper, with his arm lovingly placed around her.
Victoria, who gained fame as a Spice Girl, captioned the post with, “We both care about you all immensely,” possibly a message urging her estranged son to reconnect with the family.
Now living in Los Angeles, distanced from the largely UK-based Beckham family, Brooklyn and Nicola seem to have created their own space, raising questions about the closeness of their ties with their parents and in-laws.
