“It’s been hard. It’s a hard road. I’m hanging in there.”

Captured Attention on the Red Carpet

At the premiere, Kidman was the center of attention not only for her heartfelt comments but also for her stunning look and stylish attire.

She wore a striking backless cowl-neck top along with a bright yellow midi skirt.

Honored with Best Actress Award

The event occurred shortly after Kidman received the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival for her role in Babygirl.

This accolade was announced shortly after she learned of her mother’s death, marking a particularly emotional chapter for her. Despite the heartache, Kidman expressed her appreciation for the support she has had during this tough time, demonstrating strength in her sorrow.

“Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has just passed,” Nicole shared.

“I am in shock and I need to be with my family, but this award is for her; she shaped me, guided me, and made me who I am.

“I am endlessly thankful for the chance to honor her name through Halina. The intertwining of our lives and art is heart-wrenching, and my heart is shattered. We love you all.”
