Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan: A Surprising Age Difference Revealed

Sabrina Carpenter & Barry Keoghan Have A Bigger Age Gap Than We Knew

Sabrina Carpenter seems to have caught the attention of Barry Keoghan, and their budding relationship has become quite the sensation since late 2023. Both stars are thriving in their respective careers—Keoghan following his success in “Saltburn” and Carpenter being hailed as a leading pop artist of the year. Interestingly, almost a decade separates them in age.

Their romance reportedly kicked off during Paris Fashion Week in late 2023 when they met at a Givenchy show. Shortly after, they were seen enjoying dates around Los Angeles without confirming the buzz. However, in February 2024, they were spotted getting cozy at W Magazine’s Grammys after-party, as reported by E! News. Keoghan even traveled to Singapore to support Carpenter during her opening act for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour.” Their relationship became more evident when they posed together at the 2024 Met Gala, and Keoghan made an appearance in Carpenter’s music video for “Please, Please, Please.”

Speculation about their breakup has surfaced due to their age difference—Keoghan was born in 1992, while Carpenter was born in 1999. A seven-year gap may raise eyebrows, but they seem unconcerned, demonstrating that age can be just a minor detail in their relationship for now.

They don’t seem to mind their 7-year age gap

As for Carpenter and Keoghan, they appear unfazed by their age difference, looking very much in love and openly expressing their joy with one another. While keeping some details private, Carpenter hinted in a Rolling Stone interview that her happiness with Keoghan has inspired her music.

She stated, “The dating pool is the pool, and when you meet authentic people, that’s what happens,” revealing that her songs often reflect her real-life emotions. Keoghan has been publicly supportive, wearing a friendship bracelet bearing her name and attending her shows, clearly showing his affection. He even expressed his admiration for her song on Instagram, declaring, “BAD CHEM my fave just sayin m’darlin. Tap that link lads!!”

Coincidentally, Carpenter’s song contains lyrics that refer to meeting a charming guy at Fashion Week, strikingly hinting at their first encounter. It seems their age difference poses no significant challenge to their relationship.
