Legal defense reacts
Combs’ legal representatives issued a strong rebuttal to the documentary, denouncing it as a “platform for unfounded conspiracy theories.” They questioned the motivation and trustworthiness of the sources involved, dismissing their narratives as “sensationalized and unaccountable.”
“Sean Combs firmly denies these unfounded claims,” the statement articulated. “These narratives are damaging, defamatory, and lack credible evidence. Mr. Combs warrants a fair trial with an unbiased jury, free from these unfounded allegations.”
The release of the documentary coincides with Combs facing federal accusations, including charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transport for prostitution. He is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York City, with his trial set for May 5.
