Additionally, the Colombian superstar was joined by her sons, Milan and Sasha, at the event. During the ceremony, she treated the audience to a special performance of her classic “Ojos Asi” and her recent hit “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”

Having overcome tough competition from Luis Fonsi, Kany Garcia, Anitta, and Kali Uchis, Shakira took a moment to deliver a heartfelt speech that addressed the current situation in the United States under Donald Trump’s presidency.
She focused particularly on the struggles faced by migrants, acknowledging the impact of recent policies and the deportations happening across the country.
In her emotional address, the “Suerte” artist highlighted the essential contributions migrants make to America, sharing her own experiences and commitment to support them.
Shakira stated, “It’s incredible, thank you so much. I dedicate this award to my fellow migrant brothers and sisters who help make this nation great. They are loved, valued, and irreplaceable. I too have been a migrant chasing a dream, and I stand with Latinos, an unstoppable force. I will always fight for them.”
