In the wake of her well-publicized breakup with Gerard Pique, Shakira released a new album earlier this year and plans to embark on a tour in early 2025, despite some delays. While she prepares for the tour, Shakira is hosting an unexpected giveaway for her fans: a purple 2022 Lamborghini Urus.
When discussing her decision to gift the car, Shakira expressed her desire to move beyond her past.
“I thought, ‘I’m in Miami, let’s get a flashy purple car with a loud engine.’ I soon realized the car wouldn’t change my life, but the joy it brought to others was what mattered. I’m ready to part with it and give it to someone who will truly enjoy it and remember me.”
The contest page lists the approximate value of the Lamborghini as $195,000, but due to various modifications, its worth might be as high as $350,000. The winner may use the car or could choose to sell it.
Instructions for Entering the Lamborghini Giveaway
To participate in the sweepstakes, entrants need to be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States. They must upload a video of themselves performing the “Soltera” dance and share it on social media with the hashtag #ElCarroDeShakira.
Additionally, a form must be completed on the official contest site. The entry deadline is November 29, with the winner to be revealed live on “Despierta América” on December 6.
