Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne have created lasting memories through their recent collaboration.
During their work on the Broadway adaptation of ‘The Outsiders’, the 49-year-old actress shared in an interview with CR Fashion Book that she and her 16-year-old daughter celebrated by getting matching tattoos.
“I got ‘Stay Gold’ with my daughter Viv while working on The Outsiders,” Jolie explained.
This phrase refers to an original song co-produced by Jolie and Vivienne for the play.
“It holds a deep meaning for both of us individually and together,” Jolie said.
While Jolie mentioned her tattoo is on her wrist, she did not disclose where Vivienne’s tattoo is located.
Jolie shares insights on various matters
This revelation comes as Jolie discusses multiple subjects for the October issue of CR Fashion Book, where she is featured on the cover. The interview covers her experiences as a mother and her professional journey.
She also spoke about her choice to take on the role of lead producer for ‘The Outsiders’, a decision influenced by Vivienne, a fan of theater, after seeing the musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s work at La Jolla Playhouse in 2023.
In addition to her tattoo with Vivienne, Jolie mentioned having another tattoo that she shares with one of her other children, though she didn’t specify which one.
“There’s also a Bird tattoo that I share with some of my kids that is significant to us,” remarked Jolie, who is a mother to Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, as well as Vivienne and her twin brother Knox with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
