Reports suggest Taylor Swift is distancing herself from her friendship with Blake Lively following the mention of her name in Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit
In an update shared on Instagram, Brandon Sklenar, who played Atlas in the film, discussed the swirling rumors, stressing that the off-screen issues “should not overshadow our goals for creating this film,” particularly emphasizing its focus on domestic violence. In December 2024, Lively initiated legal action against Baldoni for sexual harassment, prompting Baldoni to counter with a $400 million lawsuit against her and Ryan Reynolds, alleging multiple offenses such as extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
Although Swift’s name was not directly included in Baldoni’s legal complaint, it did come up in text messages related to a rooftop scene in “It Ends With Us” (more on this later). Consequently, Swift is reportedly pulling back from her friendship with Lively. “At this moment, she [Swift] is opting to distance herself from Blake to avoid becoming more involved in this situation than necessary – which has already surpassed what she intended to be a part of,” a source told Daily Mail.
