Taylor Swift is feeling anxious about the approaching Super Bowl but has made amends with Brittany Mahomes. The singer has put aside her past disputes with Mahomes and looks forward to her presence in the luxury box at the New Orleans Superdome this Sunday to cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Taylor, who is dating tight end Travis Kelce, and Brittany, the wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, had a public feud late last year due to their differing political views.
Swift endorsed Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination, while Mahomes openly supported the Republican Party. However, their disagreements seem to be a thing of the past, as the two were seen enjoying each other’s company during the Chiefs’ AFC Championship Game celebration.
A source disclosed to “Life & Style” that Swift is thankful to have Mahomes by her side during this important football game, given the associated pressure of the Super Bowl.

Brittany is a Super Bowl veteran
“Taylor’s not nearly as wide-eyed about the whole thing as she was last year,” the source shared, “but she’s certainly grateful to have Brittany to share this experience with.” After all, Mahomes has made appearances at four Super Bowls in the past five years and is well-acquainted with the pressures of the event.
The insider noted that Swift and Mahomes are diligently preparing for the game, much like their partners. Brittany and Taylor “know all eyes will be on them, so they’re treating this like it’s a red carpet occasion.”
The insider added that both women are getting assistance from dressmakers and stylists to curate their outfits for the game. “The expectation to look flawless on camera is extremely high,” the insider stated.
A party for the WAGs
Along with their fashion choices, Swift and Mahomes are also focusing on their public image. “They’re looking to host a small gathering for the WAGs prior to the game for a fun celebration and to strengthen their bond,” the source added.
“Taylor is regarded as the unofficial leader of the group while Brittany acts as her right hand, so it’s only logical for them to organize the pregame festivities for the WAGs,” said the insider.
As the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for Super Bowl LIX, the WAGs are also making their own plans to represent their partners with pride during the event.
