Taylor Swift is now focusing on her upcoming birthday as she wraps up her Eras Tour with heartfelt messages at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8.
The singer will celebrate her 35th birthday on December 13, marking the end of a remarkable year that saw her tour generate over two billion dollars in ticket sales, according to estimates from The New York Times.
However, she wasn’t preoccupied with birthday celebrations while performing in Canada as she concluded her 18-month tour that covered five continents and included 149 shows across 21 countries.
“We have toured the entire world,” Swift remarked to her audience in British Columbia. “We’ve had so many adventures.”
“This has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, and challenging experience of my life.”
The demand for the singer’s concerts was so high that she added extra shows in both the UK and the US, before finishing up in Canada.
The tour featured everything from stunning outfits and powerful performances to surprise appearances by Travis Kelce and even a thwarted terrorist plot in Vienna, as she reminisced about the journey and celebrated the achievements.
“We performed for over 10 million people on this tour,” Swift expressed to the sold-out crowd. “I want to thank each one of you for being part of this incredible chapter of my life, my beloved Eras Tour.”
Fans Show Affection for Swift
Now that the tour has wrapped up, the pop star could easily retreat from the limelight, except for her appearances supporting Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Recognizing this, fans celebrated her impending birthday by singing Happy Birthday to Swift before she turns 35, bringing her closer to the big 4-0.
