After an unforgettable 21-month run of performances, Taylor Swift has gifted her fans a memorable keepsake from this journey – The Eras Tour Book. Among those lucky enough to receive it is Vanessa Bryant, a devoted fan who took to Instagram to express her joy.
Bryant, a mother of four and a good friend of Swift, shared a sneak peek of The Eras Tour Book on her Instagram story.
Accompanied by a touching “Thank you” gif, Swift included a personal message with the book.
“As we wrap up the most incredible adventure of my life, The Eras Tour, I wanted to share my memories with a few close friends,” Swift wrote.
She reflected on special moments, including friendship bracelets, performances in the rain, elaborate outfits, and behind-the-scenes stories.
“I hope you enjoy this journey through my most cherished memories,” she added.
The Bryant family, avid attendees of Swift‘s concerts, hold their own special experiences from the tour.
During a performance at SoFi Stadium last year in Los Angeles, Swift had a heartwarming encounter with Bianka Bryant, the youngest daughter of the late Kobe Bryant. After singing “22,” Swift gifted Bianka her iconic hat, creating a memorable moment for the audience.
Swift shares a strong bond with the Bryant family. Natalia Bryant, Kobe’s eldest child, received a cream cardigan from Swift in 2020, inspired by the Folklore album. The family also had a chance to meet Swift backstage during her Reputation tour in 2018, solidifying a friendship that fans admire.
A Record-Breaking Release
Like the Eras Tour itself, The Eras Tour Book has achieved remarkable success. According to Circana, it sold an impressive 814,000 copies in its first weekend, marking it as the second-highest debut for a non-fiction book in U.S. history.
The only book that outperformed this was Barack Obama’s A Promised Land, which had sales of 816,000 copies in its opening week in 2020.
Notably, Swift‘s book accomplished this while being sold exclusively at Target in the U.S.
