Blake Lively will not be present at the Super Bowl, where her close friend Taylor Swift will support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in a key match against the Philadelphia Eagles.
This decision comes amid reports that Swift feels “exploited” by Lively in a rising legal dispute involving actor and director Justin Baldoni. This conflict started when Baldoni alleged that Lively pressured him during discussions about changes to It Ends With Us by invoking Swift’s name.
Although Lively was part of Swift‘s VIP group at Allegiant Stadium for the previous Super Bowl, she will be absent and has been largely out of the spotlight throughout the ongoing NFL season.

A Complicated Situation: Swift, Lively, and Baldoni
Baldoni, who is counter-suing Lively and spouse Ryan Reynolds for $400 million, has stated in court documents that Swift unexpectedly showed up at a meeting, leading to the misconception that she backed Lively’s requests.
In a highly talked-about statement, Lively likened herself to Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones, referring to Swift and Reynolds as her “dragons” in text exchanges with Baldoni. However, sources close to Swift assert that she was not privy to the meeting’s true context.
Moreover, it’s reported that the superstar singer is feeling increasingly uncomfortable with Lively‘s alleged tendency to exploit their friendship, even after a decade of being best friends.
A source relayed to DailyMail.com, “Taylor recently found out that Blake has been misusing her name for a while, including wrongly telling a young actress that Taylor ‘cast her.’ That never occurred.”
Swift‘s team has clarified that she was not involved in the making of It Ends With Us and did not serve as a producer or consultant for the film.
