Tensions Rise Behind the Scenes: Fox News’ Leading Personalities Clash

Two Of Fox News' Biggest Stars Reportedly Can't Stand Each Other

Fox News is no stranger to controversies and rivalries among its leading figures. The past saw notable disagreements, such as that between Megyn Kelly and Sean Hannity over Donald Trump, although they’ve since reconciled. Currently, there are whispers of another potential clash, this time involving Sean Hannity and Dana Perino, co-host of “The Five.” Is this another chapter in Fox’s ongoing saga of conflicts, or merely a false rumor?

Speculation about a feud began when an unreliable Facebook ad suggested that Perino might leave “The Five” to pursue a new venture selling CBD gummies that allegedly could “reverse dementia.” This ad purported to show Hannity expressing anger over Perino’s business, claiming it conflicted with his sponsors and suggesting legal action against her. It even mentioned fabricated responses from Perino, accusing Hannity of damaging her reputation while he pressured the network to remove her.

However, despite the scandalous nature of the report, it has been confirmed as entirely false. Dana Perino is not launching a CBD empire, and there are no real tensions between her and Hannity. The narrative appears to have been fabricated for clickbait purposes, much like the mythical benefits of her supposed gummies.

All is well between Sean Hannity and Dana Perino

The source of the unfounded feud rumors can be traced back to a misleading advertisement by Meta, which led to the circulation of the fictitious article. While neither Hannity nor Perino directly addressed the allegations, Connor Smith from Fox News swiftly dismissed them, stating, “This report is false.” Fact-checking organization Snopes also confirmed that the claims originated from a disreputable site known for spreading misinformation. Notably, no proven remedy for dementia has been discovered in gummy form either.

Dana Perino has no reason to have an issue with Sean Hannity. In fact, she attributes her successful career at Fox partly to his support. After her tenure as White House Press Secretary, opportunities at Fox were scarce. However, Hannity recognized her potential and invited her onto his show—a gesture she deeply appreciates. Perino has shared that Hannity defended her during her early appearances, helping her gain confidence. This relationship paved her way to her current prominent role as a co-host on “The Five.”
