LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne collaborated with her sister Julz to recreate the classic “Back Home Ballers” sketch from SNL as part of their Thanksgiving celebrations. The duo, who share a strong bond and athletic backgrounds, entertained fans with a fun video shot at their family residence in Belmar Beach, New Jersey.
Dunne sisters spent the holiday season with their parents, Katherine and David, sharing glimpses of their festivities on social media. These celebrations featured warm family interactions and adorable moments of Olivia with her pet dog, Roux.
Julz Dunne, a former LSU softball player and a kinesiology graduate, has consistently been Olivia’s biggest cheerleader and collaborative partner. They lived close together while attending LSU and often teamed up to create content for Olivia’s social media. Julz continues to have a key role managing behind-the-scenes aspects, producing and editing many of Olivia’s popular online posts.
A dynamic duo in athletics
Olivia, who decided to extend her time with the LSU gymnastics team for a fifth year in July, met her boyfriend Paul Skenes at the university.
Skenes, now a notable pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, experienced a standout rookie year in MLB, earning the distinguished NL Rookie of the Year award. Although he narrowly missed out on the Cy Young Award to veteran pitcher Chris Sale, Skenes made headlines with his All-Star Game debut in July, showcasing his rapid ascent in professional baseball.
During the 2024 season, Olivia frequently attended Skenes’ home games at PNC Park, often joined by Julz. The sisters also showed their support during his All-Star Game participation at Globe Life Field in Texas.
With over 13 million followers across various social media platforms, Olivia Dunne’s influence transcends gymnastics. Her sister Julz plays a crucial role in enhancing her online image, often contributing her creative talents to Olivia’s advertising initiatives and viral content.
