The Post-Shark Tank Journey of Kevin Harrington: A Dive into Success

Whatever Happened To Kevin Harrington After Shark Tank?

Kevin Harrington, an entrepreneur and former investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” should not be confused with Kevin O’Leary. Harrington was part of the original cast from 2009 to 2011 and described his time on the show as “phenomenal.” He enjoyed learning about deal-making alongside his fellow investors. However, he was replaced by Mark Cuban in the third season, even though Harrington’s overall impact on the entrepreneurial scene remains significant, leading many to wonder about his journey after leaving the show.

Harrington launched his career in television advertising and is largely known for popularizing the infomercial, transforming TV marketing since the 1980s. His influence continued in the 1990s when he helped evolve the Home Shopping Network, akin to QVC. Although the reasons behind Harrington’s exit from “Shark Tank” remain unclear, his legacy persists, along with curiosity about what he has accomplished since then.

Kevin Harrington’s Continued Business Ventures Post-“Shark Tank”

Although he is no longer a regular on “Shark Tank,” Kevin Harrington has remained active in the business sector. In 2013, he partnered with eFreedom, a site dedicated to training Amazon sellers, to help aspiring entrepreneurs hone their skills. His commitment to mentoring new business leaders has been a significant part of his career and contributes to his ongoing legacy in the entrepreneurial community. Additionally, he has continuously served as the director of Harrington Business Development Inc. since 2002.

A decade after his time on “Shark Tank,” Harrington seems to have missed being on screen. In 2022, he tried to launch a new panel show called “Funding Faceoff,” hoping to replicate his earlier success. The series, aimed at streaming platforms like The Roku Channel, was designed for aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas. Unfortunately, it didn’t take off, as only four episodes were released, leaving the future of the show uncertain. Despite his mixed results in new ventures, it’s clear that Harrington has stayed busy after his 2011 departure from “Shark Tank.”
