The friends became frenemies decades ago
The split between Martha Stewart and Ina Garten is disheartening given their long history together. Their friendship blossomed during the 1990s in the Hamptons, where Stewart supported Garten in her writing endeavors, even facilitating her first book deal and contributing to her column in “Martha Stewart Living.” When approached about reconciliation on “Watch What Happens Live,” Stewart seemed indifferent, sitting alongside her friend Snoop Dogg, who humorously commented on Garten’s reasons leaving him questioning their validity, noting that “Martha [doesn’t] fall out with people.”
With no signs of a reunion on the horizon, Stewart’s previous comments about Garten suggest a potential for ongoing tension. Fortunately, the friendship between Stewart and Snoop Dogg remains strong, just as her connections with other Food Network personalities like Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay, who have collaborated with her recently. It would be great to see a resolution between Stewart and Garten on an episode of Garten’s “Be My Guest with Ina Garten” before the situation escalates further.
