Earlier this week, Dakota Johnson, known for her role in Madame Web, was spotted enjoying a beach weekend in Malibu, California with Jeremy Allen White’s children and friends.
According to The Daily Mail, Johnson and White have an unusual friendship, and their families have a close bond.
Johnson, aged 34, wore a yellow bikini, while White, aged 33, sported white swim trunks.
Johnson is the godmother of White’s two daughters, Ezer (5) and Dolores (3), whom he shares with his ex, Addison Timlin.
White and Timlin, who got married in October 2019 and divorced in May 2023, had met in high school at New York City’s Professional Performing Arts School before acting together in the 2008 drama, Afterschool.
Despite Johnson dating Chris Martin since 2017, she maintains a friendly relationship with both Timlin and White.
While not collaborating on any film or TV projects, Johnson and White share mutual friends, such as Blake Lee from Cruel Summer. Johnson and Martin were present at White and Timlin’s courthouse wedding in Beverly Hills.
Actors Spotted Together at Political Events
Johnson has been seen with the former couple since 2017, attending events like the Women’s March protest following Donald Trump’s inauguration. White also joined Johnson at Melanie Griffith’s 60th birthday celebration.
Timlin often shares glimpses of her life as a mother involving Johnson, whom she refers to as her “best friend.” In 2021, Timlin extended birthday wishes to Johnson on Instagram, sharing a photo of one of her daughters snuggled up with Johnson.
“We love you so much, thanks for being born and raising kids with me it’s the best,” Timlin posted on Instagram.
