At just 25 years old, TikTok personality and fashion icon Taylor Rousseau Grigg has passed away. Her husband, Cameron Grigg, revealed the shocking news of her death on October 5, 2024, leaving the family in profound grief.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Cameron did not provide specifics about her passing but mentioned that Taylor had been facing a number of health struggles. He remarked on her resilience over the past year, stating, “This past year, Taylor has faced more pain than most endure in a lifetime. Yet, she remained a beacon of joy for everyone around her.” He shared that as her final generous act, Taylor chose to donate her organs, ensuring her legacy continues. “Although her body is being sustained by machines for the donations, her spirit will save lives,” Cameron expressed.
He also disclosed the financial burden resulting from numerous hospital visits, which prompted them to establish a GoFundMe account to support medical expenses. “Since our marriage, Taylor’s health issues led to hospitalizations that strained our finances, and we lack insurance,” he noted. “A friend initiated a GoFundMe for those who wish to assist. Your prayers are equally appreciated,” he remarked.
Taylor faced undisclosed health challenges before her death
Despite appearing vibrant on social media, it was eventually revealed that Taylor Rousseau Grigg was grappling with significant health issues, including undergoing major surgery.
In a November 2023 TikTok video, Taylor opened up about her medical struggles, stating, “Two ER visits, one surgery, and a lot of confusion over a span of 14 days.” Just a month earlier, she shared her ordeal post-surgery, expressing that overwhelming stress played a crucial role in her health decline: “The past six to eight months have taken a toll on my body,” she explained.
After that, Taylor refrained from further discussing her health. In a poignant tribute, her sister Trinity shared details of Taylor’s final moments: “Even after her passing, she is saving lives through organ donation. While her body stays with us, her spirit is now with the angels, free from pain,” Trinity wrote on Instagram. “She is now at peace, dancing and laughing beyond those golden gates.” As of now, Taylor’s GoFundMe has garnered nearly $40,000 in support.
