“I am canceling the Rose Bowl concert originally planned for January 25th, out of respect and concern for the residents of Los Angeles County,” he began.
“This city has always inspired me deeply, and my thoughts are with all those affected during this tough time. Therefore, I have decided to postpone my album release to January 31st,” he added, referring to his new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. “My priority is to aid in the recovery of these communities and help their remarkable residents as they rebuild,” the artist concluded.

The renowned Rose Bowl stadium has undergone partial reconstruction following the devastating Eaton Fire that impacted regions of Pasadena and Altadena.
As reported on January 10 by the Los Angeles Daily News, city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian shared that the stadium has been repurposed as an emergency operations center for local police and fire services.
Lisa mentioned, “The Rose Bowl should be prioritized for emergency vehicles from various states to ensure safety. Though it wasn’t intended to be a staging area, it became one as the situation progressed,” adding more context to its current use.
