Tom Cruise attempted to grab attention at Victoria Beckham‘s 50th birthday celebration, but his efforts didn’t impress, as reported by Spice Girl Mel B.
The 62-year-old actor, known for his dynamic performances, tried to reenact the flashy dance moves of his character Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder. Unfortunately, his dance left many guests, including Mel B, underwhelmed.
What did Tom Cruise do?
At the birthday party, while Cruz Beckham played guitar and the family celebrated, David Beckham encouraged everyone to join in, prompting Cruise to try and take the spotlight.
He eagerly formed a dance circle, planning a performance that echoed his memorable Tropic Thunder act. Mel B described the experience as cringe-worthy.
“I thought ‘Oh my God!’ and I stepped away from the circle. It was an odd dance. It was awful,” she remarked.
Tom Cruise has been friends with the Beckham family since David Beckham’s relocation to Los Angeles in 2007. They’ve appeared together publicly on numerous occasions and developed a close relationship, with Cruise regularly seen at events alongside Victoria and David.
Despite the dance incident, Cruise is focused on elevating his fitness journey.
He has attracted attention due to his rigorous training routine, which reportedly includes sessions in hyperbaric chambers and breathing exercises aimed at anti-aging.
Additionally, Cruise is gearing up for a role that involves underwater scenes, emphasizing the need for breath control and diving skills. However, there are concerns about the risky nature of his intense training. Reports suggest that Cruise has even resorted to taping his mouth shut at night to encourage nasal breathing, a practice some warn might pose significant dangers.
Regardless of the feedback, Cruise is convinced that his unique training methods are the key to maintaining his vitality and fitness for upcoming projects.
