Unearthing the Chilly Exchange: Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek’s Intriguing Encounter

What did Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek say to each other during frosty encounter?

A recent clip from Paris Fashion Week, showcasing Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek, has gone viral, captivating both fans and commentators.

A lip-reading professional has decoded the conversation that occurred between the two stars during the Balenciaga show on September 30, where Katy Perry was also present.

Jeremy Freeman, a lip-reading specialist from the UK, provided insights into the dialogue between Hayek and Kidman.

He reported that Hayek initially stated, “Let’s turn there, OK, here.”

Kidman replied succinctly, saying, “Hey, I’m fine, I’m good. There, it’s enough, it’s OK.”

As Hayek started to say, “We have to…,” she paused to touch Perry’s shoulder. Freeman observed that Hayek reassured Perry, encouraging her to engage with the press by saying, “That’s fine, that’s fine.”

Public Reaction to the Exchange

The footage has led to varied reactions on social media, with some viewing the moment as “tense,” while others believe that the stress of a paparazzi-filled environment may have influenced the interaction. Nevertheless, Kidman and Hayek seemed to maintain a friendly rapport later in the evening, as seen in numerous clips on Twitter.

Some online users noted that Kidman’s expression may have reflected her internal state, especially considering it was her first public event following her mother’s recent passing.

In a poignant Instagram message, Kidman shared her appreciation for the love and support she received during this challenging time.

She wrote, “My sister and I along with our family want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,” while highlighting the need for family privacy during their mourning period.

The Balenciaga show is part of Kering Group, a French luxury brand conglomerate that also includes notable names like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Alexander McQueen. Adding depth to this context, Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault, has led Kering as president and CEO since 2005.
