Important Dates for Miss Universe 2024
The preliminary round will commence on November 14, featuring contestants showcasing their national costumes. A panel of judges, comprised of event experts, will select 25 finalists, alongside choosing regional representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. Additionally, one semifinalist will be picked via a public vote ahead of the main event on November 16 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico.
This year’s selection committee includes a range of veterans such as Emilio Estefan, influencer Lele Pons, artist Romero Britto, designer Eva Cavalli, former Miss Universe Margaret Gardiner, host Jessica Carrillo, designer Michael Cinco, and several others including influencers and professionals from various fields.

- The selected contestants will participate in a new swimsuit segment, where 18 will be eliminated.
