Losing a child is never easy, and Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo know this pain all too well. In the trailer for the second season of her Netflix show, “I am Georgina,” Rodriguez opened up about her loss. She shared that Ronaldo was one of her biggest supporters, saying, “Life is hard. I have reasons to move on and be strong. Cris really encouraged me to continue my agenda. He said, ‘Gio, get on with life. It’ll do you good.'” Rodriguez also revealed that her main priority is her family and children, and while she has suffered a significant loss, she is still “happy and thankful” for what she has.
Rodriguez has spoken about the difficult year she had in the past, telling Elle Spain, “This year has been the most complicated of my life; the happiest moment became both the saddest.” Ronaldo also opened up about his struggles with the loss in an interview with Piers Morgan, revealing that he keeps his son’s ashes and talks to him. Our hearts go out to them.
