The Jonas Brothers are known for their hit love songs, and quite a few of them are inspired by their actual love lives. While Kevin, Joe, and Nick usually stay away from confirming any speculation that relates to their past romances, they have left more than a few subtle references in their lyrics.

In recent years, though, the brothers have mostly written about their wives. That definitely holds true on their newest album “The Album,” which is almost entirely comprised of love songs that are presumably about Danielle Jonas, Sophie Turner, and Priyanka Chopra. One of the songs, though, is addressed to a new object of the brothers’ affections — their daughters. Nick and Danielle welcomed daughters Alena Rose and Valentina Angelina in 2014 and 2016 respectively, while Joe and Turner welcomed Willa in 2020 and a baby girl in 2022, and Nick and Chopra welcomed their daughter Malti in 2022.

Still, in addition to playing their new hits, the brothers are revisiting many of their older songs on their latest tour, which kicked off on Aug. 12 — so it’s understandable that fans might be wondering about the people that inspired them. Ahead, here’s a brief overview of some of the band’s most famous songs and the people they were (probably) written about.
