Shady’s again. Eminem’s alter-ego returns within the horror-filled video for “Framed,” the newest single off final 12 months’s Revival.
The James Larese-directed clip is gory and specific. It options bloody scenes, dismembered physique components, and ugly animation to match Eminem’s twisted, intricate rhymes on the terror-themed monitor.
Slim Shady escapes from an asylum and goes on a serial killing spree within the video. Morbid imagery, blood smears, ghostly apparitions, and shaky camerawork are used to showcase his tormented ideas. Viewer discretion is certainly suggested.
“I ain’t murdered nobody,” Em raps on the Fredwreck-produced monitor. “I know these words are so nutty / But I’m just here to entertain…I’m almost certain I was framed.”
“Framed” seems on Eminem’s newest album, Revival, which topped the Billboard 200 in December. He beforehand launched movies for “Walk on Water” with Beyoncé and “River” with Ed Sheeran.
