Missy Elliott is back with another one.
Eight months since releasing her Iconology EP, the rap innovator debuts her latest visual for “Cool Off.” The dance-heavy clip, directed by Daniel Russell, continues the museum theme from her previous videos. DripDemeanor transforms into a bronze statue and a tilting doll. She glides across the museum’s marble floors while her dancers rock colorful fits and walk on stilts.
Teyana Taylor reprises her role as a museum chaperone, celebrating Missy as the “greatest, the most timeless woman of all time.”
Back in January, the hip-hop icon dropped the visual for “Why I Still Love You,” which was preceded by “DripDemeanor” and “Throw It Back” off her Iconology EP, her first project in 14 years.
