Epic Discounts Unleashed: BMW, Toyota, and Honda Take Vietnam by Storm

BMW, Toyota, and Honda offer record-breaking discounts in Vietnam

Year-End Auto Discounts in Vietnam

As 2024 wraps up, automakers in Vietnam are significantly dropping prices—some by up to half a billion VND—to increase sales during December. This includes both domestically assembled and imported vehicles.

The Vietnamese automotive scene is thriving this December, showcasing a variety of fresh models and attractive promotional offers. Manufacturers are cutting prices, eliminating registration fees, and throwing in additional accessories to entice buyers, particularly as demand lessens due to the end of the government’s previous 50% registration fee subsidy.

Among the leaders in discounts, BMW has launched a notable offer, reducing prices for its iX3 and i4 vehicles by 10%. This reduction yields savings of about 350-380 million VND, plus a free Wallbox fast charger. Loyal customers can enjoy an extra discount of 50 million VND, pushing total savings for select models close to half a billion VND.

In addition, BMW is providing appealing incentives on other models, including discounts that cover 50-100% of registration fees, as well as accessorizing and maintenance packages.

Toyota is also contributing to the trend with substantial registration fee support ranging from 50-100% on popular vehicles. The Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross see reductions between 33-38 million VND, while the Vios has a discount of 23 million VND. The Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio MPVs benefit from full registration fee waivers, saving customers 56-66 million VND depending on the model.

Honda Vietnam is making headlines by slashing prices on the Accord sedan by as much as 250 million VND, reducing its cost to 1.069 billion VND. The Honda City also enjoys registration fee reductions of 25-28 million VND, and the CR-V’s price has dropped over 100 million VND, now starting at just above 900 million VND.

Ford is joining the fray by offering 50% registration fee support for top sellers like the Ranger and Everest. The Everest receives additional cash discounts of 15-22 million VND, while the Ford Territory SUV’s list price is lowered by 40 million VND.

KIA and Mazda are implementing significant discounts across their range as well. The KIA Sorento can be purchased for up to 110 million VND less, depending on the variant, while the KIA Seltos sees reductions of 30-40 million VND. Mazda is discounting the Mazda6 sedan by 85 million VND with included accessories, and the CX-5 is experiencing a smaller cut of about 20 million VND.

Mitsubishi is providing targeted promotions, featuring maximum savings close to 60 million VND when converted to cash. All models come with 50% registration fee support, fuel vouchers valued between 8-25 million VND, and assorted accessories based on the model and version.

Hyundai is offering generous discounts of up to 90 million VND, varying by model. Customers can expect complimentary accessories, material damage insurance, and favorable loan rates on installment plans, while the Hyundai Creta is sold with a full registration fee exemption.

Skoda is also reducing prices on its imported Kodiaq and Karoq SUVs, offering complete registration fee waivers and a 30 million VND incentive for new purchases. Total savings can range from 144-166 million VND depending on the model.

Automakers and dealerships are optimistic that these bold promotions will generate the necessary momentum to end 2024 with impressive sales, aiming to equal or approach the record sales seen in October and November, despite challenges in the wider market.
